When I was younger, I was always a social butterfly. As I get older and connect with my personal vibration, I seek out my quiet time to feel my home frequency. What I didn't realize when I was young is that filling your calendar with events doesn't give you time to just be in your own skin and feel your personal energy. Many changes are happening for people around me. My advice to them is to "sit in" their energy and the answers will come.

My sister and I had our annual downtown Christmas carousel ride. After we left the house, we realized we left our cell phones & cameras at home. We rode the Light rail downtown and we noticed how many people seemed so unhappy. We sent Reiki for the highest good to all the people on the train. Afterwards, more people seemed to be laughing and smiling. As we went to the carousel at Westlake Center, We sent warm golden energy to the people we passed. Once on the ride, we sent Reiki to all the People we saw as we turned around and around. Leaving our cellphones & cameras at home was meant to be so that we could be in the moment and connect to the "Holiday Spirit".
Last Thursday, I had an accupuncture session. Afterwards I felt very depressed. Accupuncture brings your body into alignment so in the process your body rejects trapped emotions. As I walked into my house, Thelma, my goldfish seemed to be having a seizure. She was splashing water all over the floor. She stopped suddenly and was on her side near the top of the tank. In the state I was in, I burst into tears thinking she was dying. I couldn't keep my eyes off of her. A few minutes later, she turned upside down and sunk to the bottom although she was breathing. I stayed upset for about an hour but then I realized I needed to send Reiki to her. I hugged the tank and started the Reiki. If this was her time to transition I didn't want to interfere so I told her I loved her but she may go if it's time. I put my intention on her calming down and not being in pain. As the day moved on, I checked on her. Every time she was still upside down but she moved to different areas of the tank. Thelma looked so sickly I really thought this was the end. The next morning, I went to the fish tank and was excited. Thelma was perfectly healthy, It was has if nothing ever happened. I am so grateful for Reiki in my life. I can't prove that Reiki healed her but I am so grateful for the amazing power of Reiki.
As a healer, I always have that overwhelming feeling that I need to heal everyone. Lately I have come to realize, By focusing on healing a certain group of people can help you focus. I seem to have more energy for my healings and I feel people get more attention from me. Focus is a wonderful discipline to manifest what you feel the world needs.
I love Reiki. It is a major part of my everyday life. For a few months now, I started to feel like something
was missing. Halfway through my vacation a few weeks ago, It dawned on me that I wasn't focusing on my natural gift. I have seen Auras since I was little. I realized I took this gift for granted. I need to share my gift with others so they can get in touch with their energy. So I decided to start teaching aura classes. It is a new thing for me. Sometimes the very thing you need is right in front of your face. "How to see Auras & perceive Energy" class will be held June 15th. Go to Products & Services to register for the class. I'm visiting my hometown, Charleston, S.C. It is such a beautiful city to visit. My sister, Babs and I were
excited to see all of the Alternative healing places that are available here. Charleston was always the most liberal of the cities in South Carolina but it still is where the first shot of the Civil War was fired! I have done 4 Reiki healings so far and everybody seems to be open to natural healing. It feels so good to come "out of the Reiki closet" around old friends. We visited a wonderful place called Under the Bodhi Tree. Maureen has an amazing glow and is so loving to everybody who comes through the door. From this trip, I have learned that everyone can evolve it just takes being open to change. I just watched the documentary "Who does she think she is?". It is such an amazing and inspiring film about living
the life that is calling you. Women tend to put their dreams on the back burner and have a hard time standing up for their happiness. I have decided to bring my purpose to the front burner. I feel teaching people how to perceive auras and their energy is my calling! Here I am at Enzo's on Orcas Island. This morning I read "The Power" by Rhonda Byrne and "Karmic Management" by Geshe Michael Roach, Lama Christie McNally and Michael Gordon. Both books are ultimately about sending and receiving love. I am a very loving person but I get caught up in my family's conditioning. We had a restaurant for many years so you get used to having to always do something for everyone. Reining in my energy for myself is harder but I believe I see life through new
With all of the changes that are happening now, many people are forgetting to bring their energy back
to loving themselves. We are meant to create and evolve through change and contrast. When we get overwhelmed by these changes, we tend to bring out our anger and resentment. By loving yourself and letting go of resistance you will move forward with confidence and compassion. |
